In certain parts of the world twins are considered good luck. They’re said to bring happiness and riches, and while I’m typically not one to feed into superstition, I do find one set of twin sisters to be quite the charmers. I first got hip to D. Piper Twins when I moved to New York for grad school, and I’ve been obsessed ever since. Not only are the designs one-of-a-kind, but the construction is impeccable to say the least. The lining, sewing and fit couldn’t be any more perfect. Each piece—whether it be inspired from their Afro-Caribbean roots, or an extension of their New York take on fashion—makes a bold statement and fits your body to a T!
