Fit In That Dress: Ditch The White Stuff a.k.a Sugar
Many of us have no idea that sugar is holding us back from wearing that sexy bandage dress or even a bikini. According to the American Heart Association the average American takes in 22 teaspoons of added sugar a day which equals an amazing 150 pounds a year. We are OD’ing on sugar basically. High amounts of sugar can lead to acne, depression, and the dreaded belly fat. So if you want to look good in that dress you have to ditch the white stuff and replace it with something better. Instead use a healthier substitute like raw honey or stevia. Raw honey is natural as it is unheated, unpasteurized, and unprocessed. This allows many of the natural enzymes and vitamins to remain in the honey. Raw honey also has antibacterial qualities and helps digestion.
Stevia is sugar substitute which is extracted from the South American Stevia plant. Stevia is much sweeter than sugar so less is more when using it. Stevia is processed even though it is categorized as natural. Its greatest benefit is it is low calorie. So you get the sweetness without the guilt. There are some studies out there that show Stevia to have helped to lower blood sugar levels. Two Stevia products you can find in stores are Truvia and PureVia seen below.
Either way you look at it switching from using table sugar to a more natural sweetener has potential to improve your health and your curves. That is a win win situation to me.
